Insurance Product and Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Insurance Product Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new insurance products, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Insurer Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, for seamless collaboration.
• Product Support for Sales Team: Act as the primary point of contact for sales teams regarding product inquiries.
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings, ensuring our product suite remains competitive.
• Operational Efficiency: Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, legal, and IT, to streamline product implementation and operational processes.
• Insurance Policy Tracking: Ensure that the insurance policy tracker is consistently updated and maintained for accurate reporting and monitoring.
• IT Project Management: Oversee IT project management initiatives related to insurance product implementation, ensuring successful IT integration and system efficiency.
• Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, conduct and arrange product briefings to enhance the sales team’s understanding of new and existing insurance products.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all insurance products and processes adhere to local regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Policy Signing: Complete the sales process and insurance document signing when needed

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance product management, operations, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to support product strategy.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT project management and system implementation related to insurance products.
• Insurance certifications required: M5, M9, M9A, HI
