The Wealth Management Accelerator Programme (WMAP) is an innovative initiative designed to create a strong pipeline of talented professionals in the Wealth Management sector. As financial institutions continue to expand their wealth management businesses, the need for skilled professionals is becoming increasingly important.
WMAP aims to address this need by providing mid-career applicants with a unique opportunity to transition into the Wealth Management industry. Participants in the programme will be employed by a Financial Institution and undergo a comprehensive and industry-curated training programme. This includes structured training followed by on-the-job training to help them successfully pivot into a career in Wealth Management within the Financial Services sector.
The programme is expertly managed by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) and is supported by Workforce Singapore (WSG), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Wealth Management Institute (WMI), and participating Financial Institutions. This collaborative approach ensures that the programme is highly effective in producing skilled professionals who can help to drive growth in the Wealth Management industry.
